SCIENCE

This year in Science we will be studying many interesting topics using the FOSS program. FOSS uses hands on learning and inquiry to make Science VERY exciting. We will start the year by looking at Water and it's properties. We will also look at Magnetism and Electricity as well as the Human Body. You will be required to make predictions and carry out experiments with your team to better understand these areas of Science. Everyone loves FOSS Science and I know you'll enjoy it too!

SOCIAL STUDIES

In Social Studies this year we will spend time learning about Maps, some Pennsylvania History, Government and Economics. I know that for some of you these topics may not sound exciting, but fear not, they WILL be! We will use technology to create some interesting projects and explore our world. We will also see how a bill becomes a law by writing some bills and taking them through the process. You will get to decide what bills be come laws in our classroom!

MATH

Welcome back to school and your fourth grade school year! We will have a lot of fun in Math this year studying things like Place Value, Addition and Subtraction of larger numbers, Multiplication, Division, and Geometry. I am looking forward to diving in and experiencing with you all that Math has to offer.
