Sinking Springs
Sinking Springs Elementary School provides students in grades four through six with a challenging and enjoyable educational experience.
Our school, opened in September 2001, is an exceptional facility with lots of natural light, state-of-the-art technology, and a fabulous faculty committed to providing educational opportunities through which all students strive to achieve their full potential. Diagnostic assessments are used in Reading, Writing, and Math to enable teachers to meet the individual instructional needs of all students. Science, Social Studies, and Health Education are also a part of the daily instruction within each classroom. Students receive instruction from curriculum specialists in Physical Education, Music, Art, and Library throughout a 6-day cycle. Sinking Springs offers additional programs to support and enhance the curriculum.
At Sinking Springs Elementary School, we believe in providing a comprehensive educational experience. In addition to our core curriculum, we offer a wide variety of additional services to support our students. These include Special Education services, an active Instructional Support team, guidance services, English as a Second Language, instrumental music lessons, and a seminar program for gifted students. We also encourage students to explore their interests through after-school intramural clubs and activities. Our active Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) supports our students with a corps of volunteers to assist in the classrooms, accompany children on field trips and provide classroom celebrations.
At Sinking Springs Elementary School, we are more than just a school-we are a community. We look forward to welcoming your family into our community and becoming a part of your educational journey. Together, we can help your child achieve their full potential and prepare them for a successful future.
