School Counseling
The School Counselors in the Central York School District are dedicated to supporting the needs of ALL district learners and families in three core areas: academic development, personal/social development and career development. We accomplish this by connecting with learners, families, educators, businesses, community members, and post-secondary opportunities. The counseling program assists ALL learners and provides equal access to services.
Learners receive evidence-based services from school counselors to fulfill their academic, social/emotional, and career potential through individual meetings, classroom guidance lessons, small group sessions, and school-wide programs and initiatives. Through facilitation of career exploration tools learners gain experiences that will foster career awareness and job readiness.
