Choir

Every 5th and 6th grader at Central York has an opportunity to join the choir. Choral music making is singing in an ensemble with others who have a love for vocal music. This ensemble experience not only teaches the individual proper singing technique, breathing, diction and posture, but also important team building skills.

The singers will be taught how to follow a conductor as well as balance and blend their voices with others. They may also have solo opportunities throughout the year. Singers will experience the joys of performing quality musical literature in a nurturing and fun environment.
